About Us

Hello, my name is Thomas Faulkner and I am the founder of Emboldo Entertainment LLC. As many people from around the world I enjoy Japanese culture along with anime and mangas. 

I founded Emboldo Entertainment in 2015 to initially look into licensing works from various Japanese agencies; however, I realized soon after this is not the approach I wanted to take. Many Japanese artists are underpaid and work long hours. I wanted to do more to support artists, so I decided to take a more direct route. I started my company and began assembling my team of professionals while working with the artists directly. 

In providing professionals not only do we provide a high quality reading experience, but we strive to ensure the translations will be as the artist intended.  

Emboldo Entertainment is an anime/manga publishing company based in the United States that works with artists from Japan to bring original content to our readers. We do not purchase licensing as our contracts are directly with the artists themselves. We work with professional proofreaders/translators to bring our readers the highest quality of reading material and adapt it to western audiences. 

In 2021 Emboldo Entertainment started branching into the video game industry with emphasis on anime RPGs and story telling. We launched "A New World With You" but this failed to meet its funding goals. We went back to work on trying to create something that players would enjoy. We came up with "Celestan" a scifi action/rpg created in Unreal Engine.
